How Disco verifies a gathering
Enough members checked in together at one place, for real. Not a post or a promise.
Disco members check in automatically when they're at a venue (location-based, with the member's permission). A gathering counts when enough of a Disco Crew's members are verifiably at the same place at the same time.
The rules
- Each member is there for at least 5 minutes, and they overlap with each other for at least 10 minutes.
- Only automatic, high-confidence check-ins count, not manual ones.
- Members must have joined the Disco Crew at least 7 days earlier.
- One gathering is up to 4 hours at one venue.
- It has to happen inside the sponsorship's 30 days (or the activation's window).
How many members are needed
It depends on how many members were active in the last 30 days when you're approved. The number is locked then and doesn't change.

If Disco can't measure a Disco Crew's activity yet, the target is 3 and Disco confirms it before approving.
You'll see the date, the venue and how many members were there. Never their names.
